Venezuela has abolished the covid entry rules for tourists. According to IATA, this happened at the end of April.

However, information about the abolition of covid restrictions for entry into Venezuela has already been published on the “tourist map” of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).  A May 1 announcement indicated that all covid entry requirements for Venezuela have been lifted from April 28.

In December 2022, Venezuela removed the requirement for covid tests on arrival for foreign tourists.

There are direct flights from Moscow to Venezuela. The Nordwind airline flies to Margarita Island in cooperation with the tour operator PEGAS Touristik (chains of 10-11 nights).

Also, Conviasa flies to the Venezuelan resort island, blocks of seats on the flights of which are once taken by Intourist and TEZ Tour tour operators. According to tour operators, there is traditionally good demand in the Caribbean direction, in connection with which flight programs to Venezuela have been extended for the summer season 2023.

Citizens of the Russian Federation do not need a visa to enter the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Tourists need a valid passport with a validity of at least 6 months from the date of entry into the country.
