The Ministry of Transport announced changes in the average price of air tickets on domestic routes.
“The average fare for air transportation within Russia in economy class amounted to 8,313 rubles, which corresponds to the level of 2020-2021 and 8.4 percent lower than in 2019 (9,075 rubles),”, RIA Novosti quotes a statement from the Ministry of Transport, which is based on monitoring data conducted by the Federal Antimonopoly Service.
The agency also added that for some airlines on a number of routes, the average ticket price in 2022 was lower than a year earlier. One such carrier is S7. For flights from Moscow to Yakutsk, the price decreased by 5%, and from Kaliningrad to Novosibirsk – by 16%.
