The head of Kamchatka called the high cost of tours to the peninsula a myth — this is a myth, tickets have become more affordable.
"The fact that it is expensive and difficult to get to Kamchatka is already a myth. I can confirm this with full responsibility. Right today you can book an individual trip, the flight Moscow – Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky costs 13 thousand rubles thanks to state support measures, and for the privileged category it is even cheaper, — Solodov said in an interview RIA Novosti as part of SPIEF.
He noted that tensions remain on the peninsula with places of residence for travelers. But it is already under construction for 65 beds, and in 2023 it is planned to commission the first five-star hotel in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
