The press service of the State Duma Committee on Tourism and Tourism Infrastructure Development announced plans to postpone the mandatory certification of guide instructors from July 1.
Today, the work of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation continues to develop a mechanism for passing the specified certification “,” Interfax reports the words of representatives of the department.
It is emphasized that, given the importance of the work of instructors-guides related to safety of tourists, it is planned to retain their right to carry out their activities without passing certification for another year.
The postponement will allow work to be carried out during the summer to determine the main important aspects in the work of instructors. For example, who and how will carry out the categorization of routes or their certification, what will be the mechanism for monitoring guide instructors and who will be entrusted with this function, what punishment will be provided for the lack of certification and entering the route without notifying the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
