In exceptional cases, an application for a visa or residence permit may be considered
The possibility of obtaining visas to this country, as well as and temporary residence permits, is blocked for Russians and Belarusians until at least the end of March 2024. The Czech government approved the proposal of the local Ministry of Foreign Affairs to extend the existing regulation, while expanding it to persons of the indicated nationalities with passports of other countries.
In exceptional cases, for example, for humanitarian reasons, an application for visa or residence permit may be considered.
Since October 25 last year, Russian citizens have been banned from entering the Czech Republic with short-term Schengen visas from outside the European Union. Regardless of which country these visas are issued.
