The current sales window for tours with cashback will end ahead of schedule

Since March 14, 500,000 people have purchased tours and hotel accommodation. Thus, since the beginning of 2022, more than 1.2 million citizens of the Russian Federation have used the tourist cashback program. Within the current additional window, demand has doubled compared to the previous window, which took place from January 18 to February 28, 2022. Compared to 2021, trips with cashback were booked 5 times more often.

“The current additional sales window was launched as an anti-crisis measure and was made possible thanks to a government decision. After the internal redistribution of Rostourism, additional funds were allocated for cashback to support affordable travel around the country in spring and early summer. Also, this measure allowed to support business and employment in the industry in the current difficult conditions,”, Zarina Doguzova, head of Rostourism, wrote in her Telegram channel.

Due to the fact that additional allocated funds will soon be selected, a decision was made to close the current sales window ahead of schedule – on the night of April 8-9. It is specified that the sales window for the autumn-winter period will take place. Dates and details will be announced later.
