Five Thai beaches have been ranked as the “Best Beaches on Earth in 2023”. One of them topped this ranking, and four others also entered the top 100, and among the top ten. This was reported by Thai media, citing the rating of the British website World Beach Guide. The beach of Koh Kradan Island, off the coast of Trang Province, was named the best of the “100 Best Beaches on Earth 2023”.
The winning beach is not well known to Russian tourists. Koh Kradan is one of the 40 Trang Islands off the Andaman coast of Thailand. “Mass” tourist infrastructure, unlike even the neighboring island of Koh Muk – there are no villages, only a few small resorts and shops, and most of the island is part of the Hat Chao Mai National Park.
Also in “100 of the best beaches on Earth 2023” includes four more Thai beaches. Railay Beach in Krabi Province ranked ninth in the top ten, Freedom Beach in Phuket ranked eighteenth, and Laem Beach on Koh Yao Yai in Phang Nga Province ranked 21st. Rounding out the list is Tanot Bay on Koh Tao Island in Surat, Thani Province, which came in at number 44.
