Russian tourists were told what they now need to enter Turkey

Turkey has almost returned to pre-docian times in terms of entry. This means that the Turkish authorities have abolished HES codes and tourists no longer have to present them. Only a few requirements of the covid period remained. This was told by a Russian woman living in Turkey on her Yandex.Zen channel.

For example, there is still a requirement to fill out a pre-flight questionnaire from the Ministry of Health on the website hregister.health.gov.tr. “True, representatives of airlines say that they no longer check it. But there has been no official cancellation yet. So the questionnaire can be filled out, but there will be no hash code,” she explained.

In addition to a valid passport, Russian tourists aged 12 years and older will need only one of the following documents to enter Turkey optional:

  1. Negative PCR test result in English, which was taken within 72 hours before entering Turkey. The document may be in electronic form.
  2. Negative result of an antigen test that was submitted 48 hours before crossing the border.
  3. Certificate from the State Services on the coronavirus transferred over the past 6 months. Printed version in English must be presented.
  4. Vaccination certificate received within one year. Of the Russian vaccines, Turkey accepts only the two-component Sputnik V, the single-component Sputnik Light is not.

Children under 12 years of age are an exception. They don’t need covid documents, they only need a passport.

As for staying and moving inside the country, the Russian woman noted, “no additional documents (except for a passport) are needed on any transport inside Turkey. The same thing when checking into a hotel, when visiting any public places – you don’t need anything.”

Tourists also need to keep in mind that in Turkey, as in Russia, the mask regime is still in effect in transport and in medical institutions.
