The city of Gagarin, Smolensk region, closes the top three, the average bill for a one-way ticket is 484 rubles. Also, the top 10 budget railway destinations for the May holidays from Moscow included Navashino, Ryazhsk, Safonovo, Vyazma, Vladimir, Tver and Bologoe. From St. Petersburg by train, paying up to 1,000 rubles for a one-way ticket, you can leave in 17 different directions. The rating includes cities located on the territory of four regions: Novgorod, Pskov and Tver regions, as well as the Republic of Karelia. Leading the top destinations with the lowest check for the May holidays, departing from St. Petersburg Chudovo and Soltsy in the Novgorod region. The average check for these cities is 361 and 445 rubles for a one-way ticket, respectively. Dno (Pskov region) closes the top three budget destinations from the Northern capital for the May holidays, on average, 469 rubles are paid for a ticket here one way. Also, the top 10 budget railway destinations for the May holidays from St. Petersburg included Veliky Novgorod, Malaya Vishera, Lahdenpokhya, Okulovka, Elisenvaara, Pestovo and Bologoe.
