Research: the most budgetary destinations for the May holidays

Tutu.ru, the analytical center for the travel and travel service, has compiled a list of low-cost railway destinations from Moscow and St. Petersburg for the May holidays. We analyzed data on tickets issued from April 1 to April 10, with travel dates from April 30 to May 10. The rating includes destinations where the average check does not exceed 1,000 rubles for a one-way ticket. In the case of Moscow, the cities of the Moscow region were excluded from the rating, and for St. Petersburg, the cities of the Leningrad region were excluded.

For the May holidays, travelers from Moscow have access to 24 destinations that fit into the budget of up to 1,000 rubles for a one-way trip. Moreover, you can go with such a budget for a ticket to 12 different regions: Tver, Tula, Lipetsk, Smolensk, Bryansk, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Ivanovo, Ryazan, Orel, Kaluga and Vladimir regions. The rating also includes regional centers: Vladimir, Tver, Tula, Bryansk, Oryol, Yaroslavl, Ivanovo, Ryazan and Kaluga. The list of budget destinations with departure from Moscow is headed by Pereslavl-Zalessky in the Yaroslavl region. The average bill for this route is 339 rubles one way. In second place is the city of Sukhinichi, Kaluga region, the average check there is 361 rubles. The city of Gagarin, Smolensk region, closes the top three, the average bill for a one-way ticket is 484 rubles. Also, the top 10 budget railway destinations for the May holidays from Moscow included Navashino, Ryazhsk, Safonovo, Vyazma, Vladimir, Tver and Bologoe. From St. Petersburg by train, paying up to 1,000 rubles for a one-way ticket, you can leave in 17 different directions. The rating includes cities located on the territory of four regions: Novgorod, Pskov and Tver regions, as well as the Republic of Karelia. Leading the top destinations with the lowest check for the May holidays, departing from St. Petersburg Chudovo and Soltsy in the Novgorod region. The average check for these cities is 361 and 445 rubles for a one-way ticket, respectively. Dno (Pskov region) closes the top three budget destinations from the Northern capital for the May holidays, on average, 469 rubles are paid for a ticket here one way. Also, the top 10 budget railway destinations for the May holidays from St. Petersburg included Veliky Novgorod, Malaya Vishera, Lahdenpokhya, Okulovka, Elisenvaara, Pestovo and Bologoe.
