Uraza- Bayram — one of the two main Muslim holidays, the day of the end of fasting in the holy month of Ramadan. In Arab countries, it is called “Eid-al-Fitr”; or “The Feast of Breaking the Fast”. In 2022, it is celebrated on May 2, or rather, the festive events begin on the night of May 1-2.
Cairo, Dubai and Istanbul turned out to be the most popular destinations for the upcoming Eid Al Fitr holidays. They are followed by the European Zurich, then Amman, Abu Dhabi and Bahrain. Qatari Doha and Indian Lucknow close the top ten.
According to statistics, in the period from April 28 to May 8, the most booked flights were from Saudi Arabia to Cairo, from the United Arab Emirates to Istanbul, from Egypt to Kuwait, and also Kuwait — Dubai, Qatar — Amman and Jordan — Abu Dhabi.
23 percent of tourists booked round-trip flights, 12 percent of bookings were made by families with children.
The top five most popular countries in terms of the number of bookings were Saudi Arabia, Egypt, India, UAE and Turkey.
