In Europe, following Russia, a new travel trend for summer 2023 has appeared

In Europe, following Russia, the all-inclusive trend is growing, as well as other ways to save on vacation without much loss of its quality. Such a conclusion can be drawn from the assessment of the main trends for the summer of 2023, which were analyzed by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC). The company, which is headquartered in London, has generally sounded optimistic estimates – tourism on Earth is recovering, and European capitals are “ahead of the rest”, with Paris recovering the fastest. However, not so optimistic trends are also obvious.

The average European, according to the analysis, plans to spend 1-2 thousand euros on his vacation. Accordingly, with our money, this is approximately from 80 to 160 thousand rubles. at the current rate. However, the general trend is that Europeans are now looking for cheaper holidays and various ways to save money. Among them is the already mentioned increase in demand for “all inclusive” – 12% of respondents will choose it, another 18% plan to save on shopping in tourist places, and 15-16% intend to choose cheaper accommodation and more affordable restaurants.

In general, the UK-based WTTC is trying to create an optimistic picture in its report, however, it is worth considering that these are the data of “British scientists” of the globalists. They assure that a “rapid recovery” of tourism is recorded in the five most popular cities of Western Europe, namely London, Paris, Berlin, Rome and Madrid. In 2019, these cities brought the national economy 83.5 billion dollars, and in 2022 they reached 85% of this level, showing a result of 71 billion. The fastest recovering is Paris, which in 2019 earned $38 billion from tourism, and 2022 – 94% of this amount or 35.7 billion. Berlin reached 82% of the pre-COVID level and received $ 7.7 billion from tourists. London is said to be “a little behind Berlin” in terms of improving the situation, but earned $ 15 billion from tourists.

“Consumers are once again flocking to Europe's five most popular cities. Travel restrictions lifted in China should also attract many visitors to Europe,” tourism globalists are counting. In addition, conditionally domestic tourists from other EU countries are also planning to travel around Europe: the share of those who want to travel to another European country increased by 13% by 2021 and reached 63%.
