The national route “North Caucasus: cities, mountains, hospitality” is planned to be launched in three regions of the North Caucasus Federal District from Moscow in 2023.
The agreement on the establishment of the national route was signed in Moscow on the II Russian travel forum “Travel”. The document was signed by three tourism departments of the subjects of the North Caucasus Federal District: the Ministry of Tourism and Health Resorts of the Stavropol Territory, the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of Kabardino-Balkaria and the Committee of North Ossetia for Tourism.
According to RBC with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Tourism of Stavropol, the route will consist of three parts:
- Cities: will pass through the Stavropol Territory, mainly through the cities of the Caucasian Mineralnye Vody;
- Mountains: will pass through the territory of Kabardino-Balkaria;
- Hospitality: will pass through the territory of North Ossetia.
The all-inclusive route will take eight days. Of these, two days, arriving at Mineralnye Vody airport, tourists will spend in Stavropol.
The route will be launched after receiving approval from the Federal Tourism Agency.
