Changes are noticeable at first sight. This is an enlarged logo and a new 3D version of the flag of the United Arab Emirates on the aircraft tail. The airline also added some graphic elements to the wings and, conversely, removed the website name from the new livery.

Emirates President Tim Clark said: “The livery of the — it is an instantly recognizable brand for any airline. It is a visual representation of our unique identity, something that we wear with pride and showcase in every city we fly to around the world".

This is the third design update for the Emirates aircraft livery and will be gradually implemented in aircraft fleet until August 2024.

The airline released a video showing artists and engineers are working on a livery conversion inside the aircraft hangar.

Recall that it's not just the outside of the aircraft that will look different for passengers. In August last year, Emirates unveiled a multi-billion dollar investment plan to modernize its fleet. It will completely refurbish the cabins of 120 Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft.

Emirates Airline began operations in 1985 with just two aircraft and has grown to a fleet of more than 262 aircraft, which last year, according to companies, carrying 19 million passengers.

Earlier this year, Emirates celebrated the arrival of the 30 millionth member of its Skywards frequent flyer program.
