TOP 10 most authentic places in St. Petersburg compiled
The Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) presented a list of the 10 most authentic places in St. Petersburg, which every tourist should visit in order to feel the spirit of the city on the Neva.
The list includes locations both in the city center (Back House, Stieglitz Academy) and on the outskirts (Kanonersky Island, Bogoslovka Estate). Some of them can be reached on foot from the center in 1.5-2 hours (Datsan Gunzechoinei, Dacha Gausvald).
We recommend that tourists select sights so that they can visit several of them in one trip. For example, from the garden “Saint-Germain” you can walk to the Vitebsk railway station, and from the Stieglitz Academy not far from the mosaic courtyard on the Fontanka and the House of Bak on Kirochnaya.
