Aurora Expeditions returned to Antarctica after a two-year hiatus

Hundreds of tourists from all over the world have joined the Aurora Expeditions on the ship Greg Mortimer this year. In total, eight flights were made lasting from 10 to 23 days in the period from January to April. Most of the passengers were from Australia, USA, Canada, UK, France and Singapore. 

Aurora Expeditions 2022–2023 Antarctic season starts in October 2022. According to organizers, cruises are in high demand, with many voyages nearly sold out.

This season will see trips to Costa Rica and the Panama Canal, Scotland, Ireland, Norway, Greenland and Canada's Northwest Passage. The company recently released the 2023 Arctic Season catalog. with new itineraries including cruises along the UK coast, across the Arctic Circle and to the Canary Islands, Cape Verde and the Azores.

Aurora Expeditions' second purpose-built expedition ship, Sylvia Earle, will go to sea at the end of 2022.
