From the end of March 2023, Armenia Airways will start operating flights on the Yerevan (Armenia) – Sochi route.
“The emergence of a new carrier once again proves the growing demand and tourism potential of the two countries of Russia and Armenia. By the end of March, we expect another air carrier, Armenia Airways, to enter the Russian market”,” RIA Novosti reports the words of Alexander Nikonov, director of aviation commerce at Aerodinamika Group of Companies.
Alexander Novikov also noted that the route Sochi-Yerevan is one of the most popular routes among passengers. Currently, such airlines as Azimuth, Red Wings, Rossiya, Armenian Fly One and Fly Arna fly to Armenia from Sochi. It also became known earlier that on March 13, the first flight from Sochi to Yerevan will be made by Armenian Airlines.
