Hot and humid summer weather has covered Antalya – even many locals “migrate” to the beaches, in particular, the famous Konyaalti: hellish heat drives people to the sea for a whole day. Moreover, this is done by Russian tourists and Russians who moved to Antalya after 24.02. Many people bring camping tents to the beach to stay near the sea all day and even at night.
As Natalya Akhmedova, a nurse of Russian origin who has lived in Antalya for 9 years, told the Turkish media, she stays on the beach with her children “day and evening until late at night”. Local resident lawyer Kerim Duman, who reads that the best way to relax in Antalya's hot and humid weather in summer is to swim in the sea, says: “The beach is breathtaking for locals, tourists and local foreigners of different nationalities. Konyaalti Beach has become a kind of United Nations beach – people of all nationalities from every country do not leave the beach and the sea.”
An interesting fact: tourists were also supported by local doctors – they noted that sea water is the best way to treat diaper rash and rashes in children and adults due to hot and humid weather in Antalya. If children swim in the sea a lot, they will be saved from an allergic reaction, colloquially called prickly heat in Russia, local doctors assure.
