Help: Southwind (“South Wind”) is a Turkish airline created specifically to transport Russians to the Turkish sea. On August 13, the first flight of the new airline took place. Instead of the carrier Nordwind, which is familiar to Russian tourists, Southwind appeared on the scoreboard. However, both airlines are owned by tour operator Pegas Touristik. The new airline operates Airbus A321 aircraft. The Russian flight crew, previously registered with Nordwind Airlines, actually moved to Southwind Airlines – to Turkish jurisdiction to circumvent sanctions.
