From May 27, Aeroflot opens regular flights to Izmir. Flights will be operated on Boeing 737 aircraft four times a week.
According to the press service of the carrier, flights from Moscow and back will be operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
“Izmir is the industrial and commercial center of the country and a major port located near coast of the Aegean. Aeroflot flights to the new point in Turkey expand the opportunities for both business and tourist trips for Russians. Travelers will be interested in unique examples of architecture and museums, rich city life and magnificent beaches, restaurants and shops. A two-hour drive from Izmir is one of the most famous and largest monuments of antiquity – the ancient Greek city of Ephesus,” Aeroflot stressed.
