The Acropolis Museum in Athens switched to the summer schedule

In the summer season, the Acropolis Museum Complex in the Greek capital Athens will work according to the following schedule:

Monday — from 08:00 to 16:00

From Tuesday to Sunday — from 08:00 to 20:00

Friday — from 08:00 to 22:00

The restaurant, from the terrace of which offers night views of the Acropolis, is open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

This season, tourists will be offered a new series of presentations with visiting archaeological sites. Under the guidance of archaeologists, visitors will be able to wander through the ruins that extend directly below the Museum and are themselves a gigantic exhibit.

Tours in English — every Saturday and Monday at 11:00, in Greek — every Saturday and Monday at 13:00.

Duration: 45 minutes

Those wishing to participate should contact the Information Desk at the museum entrance on the day of the tour.

Please note that the number of visitors is limited — maximum 20 people. Whoever signed up first will be included in the group.

You don’t have to pay separately, just an entrance ticket to the museum.
