Passengers are constantly coming up with new ways how to take care of the safety of things during flights or at least minimize the risks of damage or loss. One of the options was described by a tourist in a video on TikTok: a girl always removes her luggage on her smartphone before boarding a plane.
In the video of a traveler named Robin, you can see how she spins her green suitcase and black backpack in front of the lens in order to take a good picture. In the comments, the girl explained that she removes luggage in case it gets lost or damaged during the flight.
“I always videotape my luggage when I queue for check-in at the airport, just in case, how proof. It saved me twice,” Robin wrote.
The video has received over 490k views and has been enjoyed by many users. Robin was thanked for the tip and told that they would use the same trick in the future.
However, there are other ways to prevent luggage loss. Firstly, you can only travel with hand luggage, saving money and time. Secondly, there are devices that help track luggage, such as Airtags. If things are still lost, saved receipts will come in handy so that the airline can reimburse the cost of new things.
